As we decided last August in Gunnison, CO, there would be only one Southwest Regional meet this year. Our meet is now firmly scheduled for the third week in October, specifically October 16 (check in) through 20. The meet will be hosted by Polly and Bill McCall and will be held in the Fort Worth area.
The primary reason for choosing this week is to allow our Graham owners to enter their vehicles in the 9th Annual Westlake Classic Car Show. This car show is for original and restored to original classic automobiles and trucks from 1900 to 1959. The car show registrations are limited to 100 vehicles. So it will be important to get your show registration in to the town of Westlake early. We will be sending the show registration information as soon as it becomes available. Last year the show registrations were $25 and were available in mid-June. There will be some really nice 100-point classics there, so don’t plan to take home a trophy, unless you have really done your homework. But the spectators will really appreciate it if there are several nice Graham-Paiges and Grahams to peruse. It would be nice to break our own record of five set last year at Gunnison.
We will also send the meet details and hotel accommodation information once we have blocked 10 rooms for the club members. Tentatively the hotel, Candlelight Suites rate is set at $80. There is adequate parking area for several truck/trailer combinations.
A quick overview of the meet as planned:

So save the dates, get the dust off the car, tune her up for some short, back road trips and plan to join us in October for some fun times in the Graham-Paige built vehicles.
There is no need to register for the hotel or for the car show just yet. There will be emails to follow in the coming months with more details and instructions on getting registered for this meeting.
