“Preserving the Past, Driving the Future – Together in Graham Spirit”
The countdown is on! Plans are well underway for the 2026 Graham Owners Club International Meet, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome everyone to Roanoke, Virginia – the Star City of the South. Mark your calendars now for a full week of history, scenery, fellowship, and of course, Grahams!
Our host hotel is the Hyatt Place Roanoke Valley View, conveniently located near downtown, the airport, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. This meet will feature outstanding tours, a downtown car show, and the Saturday night banquet inside the Virginia Museum of Transportation’s Vintage Car Exhibit Hall. With plenty of trailer and parking space secured, all that’s left is for you to register early. Several of our tours require exact headcounts ahead of time, so registering early ensures that every Graham family has a spot reserved and we can finalize arrangements with each venue.

Highlights of the Week Day 1 – Monday, June 22: Arrival & Welcome Party Arrive at the Hyatt Place, unload your trailer in the reserved lot, and give your Graham a shine at the hotel’s wash station. Registration packets will be available in the Hospitality Room. That evening, join us for a Welcome Party – light refreshments and fellowship to kick things off.
Day 2 – Tuesday, June 23: D-Day Memorial & Bedford Boys Tribute We begin our week with a moving visit to the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, honoring those who stormed the beaches of Normandy. This powerful outdoor memorial spans several acres of open ground, so plan for some walking and bring water and sun protection. Benches are available throughout. After lunch, we’ll visit the Bedford Boys Tribute Center, which tells the story of the young men from this small town who gave the ultimate sacrifice on June 6, 1944.
Day 3 – Wednesday, June 24: Dixie Caverns & Private GM Collection A short drive takes us to Dixie Caverns, where guides lead us through fascinating underground passages and towering rock formations. The tour includes Jacob’s Ladder (48 steps) and a total of 342 stairs, so closed-toe shoes are required. The cavern stays a cool 55°F year-round, so bring a jacket. For those who prefer to stay above ground, you can browse the on-site antique mall or explore the rock and mineral shop, both favorites for collectors and history buffs. After lunch, we’ll enjoy an exclusive visit to “The Sink”, a private GM collection filled with classic vehicles and memorabilia rarely seen by the public.
Day 4 – Thursday, June 25: Natural Bridge & Virginia Safari Park Few sights compare to Natural Bridge State Park, where nature carved a stunning 215-foot limestone arch once surveyed by George Washington. The walk down to the bridge is steep, but a shuttle is available for those who prefer not to walk. The trail continues for about a mile beyond the bridge, offering scenic views and a waterfall. Lunch follows at the Pink Cadillac Diner, a local favorite with 1950s flair, before we head to the Virginia Safari Park. Our group will enjoy a private wagon ride through this unique drive-through wildlife park, where animals such as bison, camels, and zebras come right up close.
Day 5 – Friday, June 26: Roanoke Star & O. Winston Link Museum The day begins with a visit to the Roanoke Star, the world’s largest freestanding illuminated star, perched atop Mill Mountain and offering breathtaking views of the Roanoke Valley. Afterward, we’ll visit the O. Winston Link Museum, located in Roanoke’s historic passenger station and dedicated to the stunning railroad photography of O. Winston Link. Spend the afternoon exploring downtown Roanoke on your own — shop the City Market, visit local galleries, or enjoy a meal at one of the many nearby restaurants.
That evening, join the fun downtown at the Star City Motor Madness Party, hosted by the organizers of the Star City Motor Madness Car Show. The event is free for everyone. If you’d like to enter the Virginia Museum of Transportation during the party, you can purchase your own admission ticket directly at the door.
Don’t worry if you skip the museum Friday night — on Saturday evening, the entire facility will open exclusively for GOCI members with full access during our private banquet.
Day 6 – Saturday, June 27: Car Show & Awards Banquet Saturday is the big day! We’ll join hundreds of classic cars for the Star City Motor Madness Car Show in downtown Roanoke — one of Virginia’s premier automotive events. It’s the perfect chance to show off your Graham and enjoy the admiration of fellow enthusiasts and spectators alike.
After the show, return to the Virginia Museum of Transportation, where doors open exclusively to GOCI members at 5:00 PM. Take your time exploring the exhibits before the Awards Banquet at 6:30 PM in the Vintage Car Exhibit Hall. Dinner will be catered and followed by awards, recognitions, and the traditional passing of the GOCI banner.
Day 7 – Sunday, June 28: Farewell Breakfast Say your goodbyes over breakfast at the hotel buffet before departing at your leisure.
Can’t Join Us for the Full Week? No Problem!
We understand that not everyone can take an entire week off work or school to enjoy all the tours and activities. If your schedule only allows you to attend for the Car Show and Awards Banquet, you are more than welcome to join us for those events! Your registration fee will still reserve a goodie bag for you and include you in all event communications. However, if you prefer to attend only the Car show and banquet, please sign up for that portion without the goodie bag. — We’d love to have you with us to celebrate the close of another great GOCI year.
